STIM Buybacks
Market purchases and direct burns are different.
Pre-launch documentation · Economic parameters are provisional.
True purchases
Qualifying external assets such as WETH may purchase STIM through an approved market with reliable liquidity. Already-collected STIM is not a market buyback.
Direct burns
Already-owned STIM may be considered for direct burning from its designated allocation. Such burns are tracked separately. Selling STIM merely to repurchase it does not create valid buyback activity.
Separate accounting
Native buyback funds cannot draw on ecosystem reward allocations. The same quantity cannot be counted as both a market purchase and a direct burn.
